SIX ROUGHRIDERS NAMED DIVISIONAL ALL-CFL
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are proud to announce six members of the 2026 team have been named West Division All-CFL, four on offence, one on defence and one on special teams.
The Divisional All-CFL teams were selected by the National Chapter of the Football Reporters of Canada, their local counterparts in each division’s markets, the division’s head coaches, and fans who took part in the All-CFL Fan Vote presented by bet365 and powered by the league’s Official Data and Technology partner, Genius Sports.
The list is as follows:
LOGAN FERLAND
CENTRE
Logan Ferland helped anchor a Roughriders offensive line that has allowed the second-fewest sacks in the CFL this season, with 29 through 18 games. The protection helped Trevor Harris lead the league with 5,370 passing yards. Ferland has also played a key role at centre for short-yardage specialist Tommy Stevens, who has rushed for a franchise-record 17 touchdowns this season. He was the Roughriders’ nominee for Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman.
This is Ferland’s third consecutive divisional All-CFL selection. He was named the All-CFL centre in 2024 and 2025.
JERMARCUS HARDRICK
OFFENSIVE TACKLE
The stalwart offensive lineman returns to the Divisional All-CFL list for the second consecutive year as a Roughrider. Hardrick played a pivotal role in Tommy Stevens’ record-breaking season, which saw him rush for 17 touchdowns — a new league record for rushing scores by a quarterback. He also provided sound protection for Trevor Harris’s 5,370-yard, 32-touchdown season.
Hardrick was named an All-CFL offensive tackle in 2025 with the Roughriders and in 2021 and 2023 with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Last season, he was the CFL’s Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman.
KEESEAN JOHNSON
RECEIVER
KeeSean Johnson is a divisional All-CFL selection for the second consecutive season, having caught 108 passes — the second-best total in franchise history — for 1,328 yards and eight TDs over 16 games. The eighth touchdown, against Montreal on Oct. 17 at Mosaic Stadium, was a 17-yarder in the final minute that gave the Roughriders a 16-12 victory and clinched a playoff berth.
For the second season in a row, Johnson has led the league in second-down receptions (38 this year; 39 in 2025). Overall, Johnson finished second in the league in catches and third in receiving yards in 2026. He is one of only five Roughriders players to catch at least 100 passes in a season. Johnson also earned league honours in 2025 after catching 86 passes for 1,159 yards in 16 games.
KIAN SCHAFFER-BAKER
RECEIVER
Kian Schaffer-Baker earns his first Divisional All-CFL accolade after putting together the best season of his career. In just 12 games, he has caught 68 passes for 1,033 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 86.1 receiving yards per game, third-best in the CFL, and 15.2 yards per reception. His 1,000 receiving yards in 11 games tie him for the second-fastest pace in Roughriders history.
Schaffer-Baker has recorded four 100-yard games this season, including a career-high 185 receiving yards against Edmonton on July 23. He had multiple touchdown receptions in two games and caught at least five passes in seven games. His season-high 11 receptions came in Saskatchewan’s season-opening win over the B.C. Lions, when he also recorded 165 receiving yards. Schaffer-Baker was the team’s nominee for Most Outstanding Canadian.
JAMEER THURMAN
LINEBACKER
Jameer Thurman also earns his second consecutive Divisional All-CFL selection after another productive season anchoring Saskatchewan’s defence. The team captain hit 100 tackles on the season for the first time in his career and ranks third in the CFL, surpassing his previous career high of 97. He becomes just the 13th player in Rider history to hit the 100-tackle milestone.
Thurman has also recorded three sacks, five tackles for a loss, one forced fumble and two pass knockdowns. He has five or more defensive tackles in 13 games this season. He recorded a season-high nine defensive tackles and added a sack in Saturday’s Oct. 17 win over Montreal, helping the Roughriders clinch a playoff berth with a 16-12 victory.
Thurman was named the Roughriders’ Most Outstanding Defensive Player for the second straight season and was named an All-CFL linebacker in 2025.
MIKE BENSON
LONG SNAPPER
The 14-year league veteran has earned his first Divisional All-CFL selection after suiting up for 17 regular-season games. Over that time, Benson has been responsible for 164 snaps, including 45 field goals, 37 converts and 82 punts. A crucial part of the special teams unit, he has helped the team ranks second league in opposition punt return average (10.9 yards per return). Special Teams Coordinator Kent Maugeri lauded Benson for his protection, velocity and accuracy.
