The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American offensive linemen Thomas Perry and Jaison Williams.

Perry (6’3-312) made his rookie debut on October 12 against the Alouettes and went on to play three regular season games at left guard in 2026. Prior to signing with the Roughriders in April of 2026, he attended NFL rookie mini-camps with the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025.

Collegiately, he spent four seasons (2021-2024) at Vermont-based Middlebury College suiting up for 34 games as a Panther. A starter at guard in each of his final 30 collegiate games, Perry was named to the 2024 Division III Walter Camp and American Football Coaches Association All-American teams.

Perry was also a First-Team All-New England Small College Athletic Conference selection in 2022, 2023 and 2024 and became the first Middlebury player to take part in the East-West Shrine Bowl — an annual showcase of draft-eligible players. He played centre at the East-West game, learning the position in only three weeks, and helped the East win 25-0.

Williams (6’4-320) signed with the Roughriders in February of 2026, spending the majority of the season on the Club’s practice roster. Williams made his CFL debut at right tackle on October 24. Before joining the Green and White, Williams signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft and attended training camp with the team.

He spent six collegiate seasons (2019–24) at Youngstown State, making 52 starts, including seven as a redshirt freshman in 2019. As a senior in 2024, Williams started all 12 games at right tackle and graded as the program’s top offensive lineman, allowing just one sack while posting a 98% pass protection efficiency rate. As a junior, the Ohio native helped pave the way for running back Jaleel McLaughlin, who averaged 144.4 rushing yards per game and was later named MVFC Offensive Player of the Year.

A versatile presence up front, Williams has started at every position along the offensive line except centre. He is a four-time All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection and earned Third-Team All-American honours as a senior.
